Undoubtedly, nowadays we have easy access to technology and to a wide amount of information. However, this can be extremely dangerous. Google is a search engine - it does not reason, it does not examine, it does not analyze. It searches and present information that can be registered by anyone. And this information may or not come from trustable sources.

Likewise, in order to become a professional translator, it takes many years of study, complementary courses, investment of time and money. Unlike Google translator, which searches within Google ‘set standards’ of translation, the translator analyses the text carefully, researches words and jargons specific to each area, and applies his deep knowledge of grammar, linguistics and linguistic style. Moreover, the audience who will receive this translation is carefully analized. Many phrases, proverbs, jokes, sayings and even slogans do not make any sense if literally translated. Sometimes it is necessary to make a whole adaptation so that the text has a real impact over the target audience. Think, for instance, the devastating impact that could be caused by the wrong translation of a medicine instruction.

Use Google translator in moderation! Use the services of a professional translator unrestrictedly!
